American jazz alto saxophinist and composer, Paul Desmond, is best known for his work with the Dave Brubeck Quartet and composing they're biggest hit 'Take Five'. In addition to his work with Brubeck, he led several groups and collaborated with Gerry Mulligan, Chet Baker, Jim Hall, and Ed Bickert. Chelsea have started representing his personal publishing catalogue which includes the smooth number above 'Bossa Antigua'.
Chelsea are now representing Harlan Howard's catalogue for the UK. Harlan's was a prolific Nashville country music writer with a career spanning six decades. Among the songs in this catalogue is the great 'Blue Highway' performed above Neil Diamind and Chet Atkins.
Chelsea music add some fresh catalogue by representing Respect Music in Europe, blues classic Little Johnny Taylor's 'Everybody Know About My Good Thing'. The latter was covered by The Rolling Stones in their recent cover album .

Praise has been showered down upon French-American jazz singer-songwriter Madeleine Peyroux's new album "Secular Hymns" from the critics. The Guardian, The Times, The Mail on Sunday and Mojo reviews all gave a deserved 4 out 5 stars, while The Observer gave a whopping 5 star verdict. The album is a diverse collection of traditionally arranged old jazz and blues classics, of which Chelsea Music publishes a few.

Our man, Andre Rieu, broke his own box office record in the UK & Ireland for the cinema showing of his Maastricht concert this year. The box office took in £1.4 million, which surpasses last year’s Maastricht cinema broadcast and was the first music concert to take over £1m at the UK box office on a single day beating cinema events by One Direction, Ed Sheeran and Take That.
We placed one of our classic songs, "Dreamboat" by Alma Cogan, in £100 million Netflix series, The Crown. It capitalises on the American appetite for upper-class Britishness, in what many are saying Netflix's most ambitious project yet. The 1956 song, written by Jack Hoffman, was number one in the UK singles chart that year, very fitting for setting the scene of Queen Elizabeth's early reign.
French police thriller mini-series set in Lyon, was scored by Chelsea-published experienced TV composer, Frans Bak. The highly rated show has finished broadcasting on BBC4 but is available on iPlayer and DVD.
Yet another string to the Chelsea bow is the representation of jazz legend, John Handy, catalogues. We now represent the Hard Work and Veda Music catalogues in Europe, which feature many great jazz numbers, including the Jazz-Blues classic "Hard Work".
Our first acquisition of the 2016 is the Weems catalogue, predominantly Mason Williams written songs featuring the above worldwide hit, the 1968 novelty song Esther & Abi Ofarim "Cinderella Rockefella", and "Classical Gas" (below) a baroque pop/classical guitar hit of the same year performed by the man himself amongst many other stars.
"Come Fly With Me" is Peter Andre's new album inspired by Frank Sinatra on his 100th birth anniversary. Chelsea represent two classic songs on the album, including the that of the title and "Ain't That A Kick In The Head".
The upcoming film "I Believe in Miracles", which tells the real-life story of Nottingham Forest's 1979 European Cup win, will use the exceedingly funky General Johnson song "Temperature Risin'" from our catalogue.
The film has received great reviews in the critics' private showings and is set to premiere in Forest's home ground itself on 4th October. It will hit the cinemas for the general public on 9th October.
Another fine addition to the Chelsea catalogue is the critically acclaimed Israeli drama "Hostages", which has recently come to BBC4. We'll be taking care of composers, Alon Cohen and Roy Nassee's publishing Worldwide ex-Israel. The Guardian writes some very kind words about it in the link below.
Chelsea Music are proud to announce the signing of classic Italian song "Marina". The song was written and performed by Rocco Granata originally but has since been covered by the likes of Dean Martin, Gipsy Kings and Andre Rieu.
Chelsea Music are delighted to publish the UK's song entry for Eurovision 2015. Co-writer, David Mindel, is well known for his work with Barry Manilow, Olivia-Newton John, John Travolta and the Shadows to name a few. Whilst other co-writer Adrian Bax White is a classically trained multi-instrumentalist with an eclectic music career. The song is to be performed by dynamic duo Electro Velvet in Vienna on May 23rd.
