Our man, Andre Rieu, broke his own box office record in the UK & Ireland for the cinema showing of his Maastricht concert this year. The box office took in £1.4 million, which surpasses last year’s Maastricht cinema broadcast and was the first music concert to take over £1m at the UK box office on a single day beating cinema events by One Direction, Ed Sheeran and Take That.
We placed one of our classic songs, "Dreamboat" by Alma Cogan, in £100 million Netflix series, The Crown. It capitalises on the American appetite for upper-class Britishness, in what many are saying Netflix's most ambitious project yet. The 1956 song, written by Jack Hoffman, was number one in the UK singles chart that year, very fitting for setting the scene of Queen Elizabeth's early reign.
French police thriller mini-series set in Lyon, was scored by Chelsea-published experienced TV composer, Frans Bak. The highly rated show has finished broadcasting on BBC4 but is available on iPlayer and DVD.
Yet another string to the Chelsea bow is the representation of jazz legend, John Handy, catalogues. We now represent the Hard Work and Veda Music catalogues in Europe, which feature many great jazz numbers, including the Jazz-Blues classic "Hard Work".
Our first acquisition of the 2016 is the Weems catalogue, predominantly Mason Williams written songs featuring the above worldwide hit, the 1968 novelty song Esther & Abi Ofarim "Cinderella Rockefella", and "Classical Gas" (below) a baroque pop/classical guitar hit of the same year performed by the man himself amongst many other stars.
"Come Fly With Me" is Peter Andre's new album inspired by Frank Sinatra on his 100th birth anniversary. Chelsea represent two classic songs on the album, including the that of the title and "Ain't That A Kick In The Head".
The upcoming film "I Believe in Miracles", which tells the real-life story of Nottingham Forest's 1979 European Cup win, will use the exceedingly funky General Johnson song "Temperature Risin'" from our catalogue.
The film has received great reviews in the critics' private showings and is set to premiere in Forest's home ground itself on 4th October. It will hit the cinemas for the general public on 9th October.
We're very happy to announce the signing of the beautiful Danish clarinetist Lone Madsen's catalogue Worldwide. Watch the video above for Bliss' track "A Quiet Conversation", which she co-wrote and played in.
Another fine addition to the Chelsea catalogue is the critically acclaimed Israeli drama "Hostages", which has recently come to BBC4. We'll be taking care of composers, Alon Cohen and Roy Nassee's publishing Worldwide ex-Israel. The Guardian writes some very kind words about it in the link below.

Co-writer, David Mindel, is well known for his work with Barry Manilow, Olivia-Newton John, John Travolta and the Shadows to name a few. Whilst other co-writer Adrian Bax White is a classically trained multi-instrumentalist with an eclectic music career. The song is to be performed by dynamic duo Electro Velvet in Vienna on May 23rd.
Very happy to announce the placement of Gipsy King's classic "Bamboleo" in an ad by Mccann Manchester for the clothes and fashion company JD Williams.
